Senior Accountant

Job Description: As the Senior Accountant, your duties and responsibilities include the following: Manage the full accounting cycle by processing purchase orders and generating invoices Prepare and post journal entries and conduct reconciliations Compile and prepare monthly management accounts using ledger data Ensure preparation of accurate and compliant annual financial statements Supervise and complete annual audits Assist with implementing accounting systems and policies Oversee daily treasury operations and cash flow management in collaboration with the Finance Manager Monitor and manage the bank accounts of multiple entities daily Manage and track debtor accounts Oversee and maintain creditor accounts Cultivate and manage relationships with private equity partners and brokers Prepare and review annual budgets, interim forecasts and cash flow projections Prepare tax calculations for individuals and companies Prepare and review VAT reports for submission to SARS Any additional ad-hoc duties as required by management Skills & Experience: A minimum of 2 years post-article experience in commerce Excellent communication skills Qualification: Relevant Finance or Accounting degree Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles Grade 12 (Matric) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on 021 418 1750 , quoting the Ref: CTF020119.
