Senior Accountant

Job Description:As the Senior Accountant, your duties and responsibilities include the following:Manage the full accounting cycle by processing purchase orders and generating invoicesPrepare and post journal entries and conduct reconciliationsCompile and prepare monthly management accounts using ledger dataEnsure preparation of accurate and compliant annual financial statementsSupervise and complete annual auditsAssist with implementing accounting systems and policiesOversee daily treasury operations and cash flow management in collaboration with the Finance ManagerMonitor and manage the bank accounts of multiple entities dailyManage and track debtor accountsOversee and maintain creditor accountsCultivate and manage relationships with private equity partners and brokersPrepare and review annual budgets, interim forecasts and cash flow projectionsPrepare tax calculations for individuals and companiesPrepare and review VAT reports for submission to SARSAny additional ad-hoc duties as required by management Skills & Experience: A minimum of 2 years post-article experience in commerceExcellent communication skillsQualification:Relevant Finance or Accounting degreeCompleted SAIPA/SAICA articlesGrade 12 (Matric) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
