Senior Accountant

Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Kenilworth, Western Cape.

Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with South African accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
Assist in the development of budgets and financial plans to support organizational growth.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
Collaborate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business decisions.
Mentor and train junior accounting staff as needed.
Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes.
Requirements Bcompt Accounting or Bachelors of Accounting degree.
Registered with SAICA or SAIPA.
A minimum of 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
