Senior Accountant

An opportunity is available for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join my client in the ICT sector. You will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing critical financial insights. If you're a results-driven Accountant with a winning team-player mindset, I want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Manage monthly payroll processesCapture and process payments to suppliersDocument financial transactions by entering account informationCapture and reconcile debtors and creditors accountsPerform bank account reconciliationsReconcile general ledger accountsComplete and submit all regulatory returns and manage all SARS-related mattersEnsure compliance with standards, procedures, and applicable legislationsPrepare monthly financial reportsPerform cash flow forecasting and controlReconcile inter-company loan accountsAssist with the preparation of the annual budgetPrepare Annual Financial StatementsControl the asset registerRequirements:Financial Accounting Honours degree, BComm Accounting or equivalentMinimum of 5 years' experience in the accounting fieldKnowledge of relevant financial legislation, accounting, and auditing standardsKnowledge of Value Added Tax (VAT) and other tax legislative requirementsKnowledge of SimplePay (advantageous)Proficiency in the Xero Accounting PackagePlease note if you have not heard from us in 2 weeks from application, please consider yourself unsuccessful - please do continue to follow us online and apply for suitable roles.
