Duties: Completion of Compilations and accounting work · Compilation of Financial Statements · Plan jobs with reference to year ends and deadlines · Manage and train junior trainees · Review work done by junior team members · Manage client relationships · Requesting of information from clients · Implementing financial controls on all assets, income streams and expenses · Preparation of management accounts · Processing and calculation of month end journals · All processing of the books up to Trial Balance & Balance Sheet · Check and finalize taxes of assistants in the team · Provisional tax calculations · Assist in implementing office guidelines for the team · Maintain strong client relationship Requirements: B.Com or B.Compt degree in Financial Accounting Completed SAIPA articles at a reputable firm Must be proficient in Pastel and CaseWare software Must be fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans) Must have the ability to work well as part of a team Good time management Good problem solving and delegation skills Strong communication skills Must have the ability to work under pressure
