Strong knowledge of IFRS, local compliance, and payroll is essential, along with proficiency in Xero, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems. You are independent, analytical, and capable of supporting the Finance Organization with strategic insights in a dynamic, global environment. Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus.The RoleA Senior Accountant responsible for handling all EU processing.ResponsibilitiesOversee accounting operations for entities in Norway, Finland, and Estonia, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance.Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring adherence to IFRS and local statutory requirements.Manage month-end and year-end close processes, providing timely financial reporting.Ensure tax, payroll, and regulatory compliance in each jurisdiction, coordinating with external auditors, consultants, and payroll providers.Utilize Entersekt's ERP to manage financial data and maintain system integrity across multiple entities.Support the Financial Director and CFO with financial analysis and insights for strategic decision-making.Skills and ExperienceDegree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA qualification preferred.5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on managing multiple entities in different geographies.Strong knowledge of IFRS and European regulatory frameworks.Experience with Xero, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.Excellent understanding of cross-border financial reporting, tax compliance, and statutory regulations.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Experience at a large public accounting firm, or public multinational corporate accounting department preferred.Non-essential, but beneficial experience:Familiarity with accounting practices and the broader tax landscape in Estonia, Norway, and Finland, beyond statutory requirements.Understanding of the accounting needs specific to SaaS or tech companies.Experience in streamlining accounting processes, automating workflows, and improving system efficiencies.Personality AttributesSelf-motivated and able to work independently from South Africa while managing entities in multiple countries.Ability to collaborate with international teams and external consultants/auditors.Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.Proactive problem-solver and critical thinker.Able to prioritise effectively and handle multiple tasks.Ability to work as part of a team and be collaborative.We place a lot of value on how we treat prospective employees and appreciate the time and effort that goes into job hunting.
