In this pivotal role, you'll have the autonomy to implement your preferred finance procedures and accounting systems and have the backing of a top-tier outsourced accounting firm and auditors.
As part of the leadership team, you'll take on the responsibilities of a Head of Finance, overseeing strategic finance functions for a rapidly growing organization.

Ensure effective cash flow management, optimizing the timing of payments and collections to support company liquidity.
Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's long-term goals and objectives.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, adhering to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Management of annual budgeting and forecasting process with CEO.
Support and reporting to debt providers as required.
Ensure the company's compliance with all tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Work with external auditors and tax advisors to manage tax planning and minimize tax liabilities.
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company's tax strategy is optimized and compliant Prepare and deliver financial reports and presentations to shareholders.
Entity and ownership structuring across multiple jurisdictions and reporting/compliance for these entities.
Assessing and selecting the optimal accounting and other systems software for optimal reporting and tracking of the business performance.
Presenting company income and expense budgets for approval to the company board.
Maintain a robust internal finance control environment through the implementation of proper financial controls, policies and procedures.
Review and interrogate monthly results, budgets, forecasting and divisional/company P&L statements.
Ensure the company's compliance with all statutory requirements, including financial reporting, corporate governance, and regulatory filings.
Manage relationships with external auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure all statutory obligations are met.
Oversee the preparation and filing of statutory accounts, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time Requirements CA(SA) with 3 - 5 years full finance function commercial / private sector experience Experience with Project Accounting, Management Accounting, Divisional Accounting, Financial modelling, Annuity Billing and P&L Statements.
Working across multiple African countries.
