Position Overview Ecentric Payment Systems is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team.
In this role you will play a key part in managing highvalue client relationships and driving business growth.
As a strategic leader you will be responsible for implementing sales strategies and ensuring the profitability of key accounts.
We offer a hybrid work model allowing you to work both remotely and from our offices in Cape Town or Centurion.

Roles and Responsibilities Account Management:
Lead the management of key accounts building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Drive profitability and align account strategies with organizational goals.
Sales Strategy & Planning:
Provide input into the sales strategy and budgets.
Develop and execute account plans collaborating with Product and Operations teams. New Business Development:
Identify and secure new business opportunities in line with the sales plan.
Manage and drive new sales through the pipeline ensuring growth and market expansion.
Client Relationships & Leadership:
Maintain professional relationships with senior executives in key accounts.
Deliver thought leadership to clients contributing to both Ecentric s and the client s growth.
Market Insights & Contributions:
Provide market and customer insights to the Product and Marketing teams.
Participate in marketing activities such as conferences and industry forums.

Qualification and Certification: Critical: Degree or Equivalent Qualification in a relevant field (e.g.
business sales marketing or finance)
Advantageous: Certifications in Sales/Account Management such as Certified Professional Salesperson (CPS) or Account Management Professional (AMP)
Years of Experience (post qualification) Minimum:
5 years of experience as a Sales Account Manager in banking financial services or payments sectors.
Maximum:
15 years of experience in account management or a senior role with extensive experience managing large highvalue accounts and driving business development Professional Expertise Critical: Client Relationship Management Proven experience managing highlevel client relationships particularly in banking financial services or payments.
Sales Strategy and Execution Strong expertise in developing and executing sales strategies with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Business Acumen Deep understanding of market trends customer needs and product positioning particularly in relevant industries.
Negotiation and Communication Experience negotiating deals and communicating effectively with senior executives and stakeholders. Advantageous:
Presentation and Proposal Development Ability to create persuasive presentations and tender proposals that align with business objectives.
Marketing and Industry Engagement Experience contributing to industry blogs participating in conferences or providing thought leadership in relevant forums.
Resource Management Input Familiarity with sales tools processes and providing input into systems to optimize sales performance.
