Security Sector Manager

Security Sector Manager urgently required:

Ensure compliance with Site security requirements.
Ensure availability and functionality of allocated security equipment.
Enforce discipline onsite.
Conduct Security Risk Surveys and compile reports to client and team.
Attend all Occupational Health and Safety meetings. Draw up registers and evidence what training and when it was conducted.
Audit readiness.
Submit Investigation reports to assist on serious cases (As directed by client).
Conduct safety inspections and advise the client about corrective actions to be taken.
Escalate all physical security activities/challenges/identified risks/non-conformances/complement numbers/short posting, etc.
Conduct on-the-job training.
Ensure that all compliance topics are addressed.
Conduct Daily feedback discussions with the relevant site Security Management.
Compile Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports.
Ensure availability and functionality of allocated security equipment. Escalate to the client any resource needs and risks identified.
Provide 24-hour response to serious incidents.
Ensure that all Security Officers' inductions are valid – escalate to client Security Management for assistance.
Escalate matters for investigation to Service Provider Investigation Dept. and to Clients Investigation Team.
Manage the complement numbers, provide these numbers to the relevant Security Manager at every Shift change.
Address the shift parade five (5) times a week.
Post visits daily at the applicable Site.
Compile Investigation and Risk reports when incidents occur.
Conduct Post Inspections Daily - Report to be sent to relevant Security Management.
Conduct fence patrols once a week - Report to be sent to relevant Security Management.
Ensure that all documents, reports, and photos taken relevant to the service delivered are electronically filed by an authorized user and in the allocated folder provided by the client.
Co-ordinate and attend Workshops when required.

Qualifications required: Grade 12; PSIRA Grade A; Valid COC or PSIRA Grade A+.
Experience: Ten (5) years of security industry experience of which five (5) years security industry experience in a management position, Six (6) years of security industry experience with three (3) years being at Supervisory experience.
People Skills: Good public relations; Good interpersonal skills; Proven leadership skills; Good communication (written and verbal); Ability to create and build on new relationships; Ability to manage, control, organize and allocate staff; Ability to plan.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R10000,00 - R12000,00 per month
