A construction company in Rustenburg, North West is looking for a Sectional Operations Manager:
Main Function To manage the following support services: Procurement, Plant Machines, Fleet, Support Services and Office Administration of the organization. Responsibilities The incumbent is responsible for the implementation of the strategic plan.To manage and monitor the performance of Support Services; as well as ensuring that internal and external relationships are maintained and developed.To ensure effective capacity management of available resources to achieve higher operational efficiencies.To ensure that the processes are followed consistently across all sites or interdepartmental units.Manage, monitor, and control departmental (Procurement, Plant and Office Administration) delivery in conjunction with set control measures.Act as an escalation point to the team or interdepartmental unit in addressing and resolving queries.Manage and monitor productivity relating to Key areas within specific sitesEnsure team's adherence to correct procedure and protocol when following up on and attending to queriesAnalyze support service processes and identify opportunities for improvements; implement improvements within the organization.Identify and report process and system failures and enhancements to improve site experience.Update and maintain relevant standard operating procedures within the organization, to ensure the maintenance of quality and consistency in service delivery and site experience.Ensure effective administration.Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to head of departments and/or stakeholders.Build and maintain relationships with site managers and suppliers.Deliver on service level agreements made to ensure that expectations are managed effectively.Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships between sites and head office.Effectively manage departmental units to deliver quality service to site and suppliersDevelop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships.Positively influence and participate in change initiatives.Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge.Contribute to continuous innovation through the development, sharing and implementation of new ideas. Qualifications: Postgraduate Qualification: Business Admin or Supply Chain or Finance Management Functional experience: 5 to 7 years' experience in support services is required. Experience in the construction/property sector is helpful.3 to 5 year's experience in Management position. Microsoft Suite Knowledge Word: AdvancedExcel: AdvancedPowerPoint: AdvancedSalary ranges from R50K to R70K per month, depending on experience.
