Description: Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Section Surveyor to join their mining company based in Gauteng.
Responsibilities: Lead and support Zero Harm initiatives by ensuring compliance with legislation, SHE policies, and standards.
Conduct inspections as per Mine Health and Safety Act and company standards.
Ensure compliance with Chapter 17 of the MHSA for surveying, mapping, and mine plans.
Define team roles, ensure clear competencies, and maintain effective team performance.
Develop skills and activities to boost team performance and align with operational goals.
Oversee annual calibration and servicing of survey equipment for accuracy and functionality.
Provide expert support and collaboration with Mining and Technical Services teams.
Research industry best practices and recommend strategies to improve efficiency.
Manage survey data recording systems and ensure data accuracy and backups.
Control budget expenditures to meet departmental and financial objectives.
Requirements: Grade 12 Diploma/Degree in Surveying or Mineral Resource Management Mine Surveyors Certificate of Competency 5 years' experience in Mine Surveying with 3 years' experience in a Senior Surveyor position.
Experience in CAD Software (Mine Cad, MineRP CAD, Autodesk, Microstation) Proficient in Point Cloud processing Software (Infinity, Leica Infinity, Cyclone 3DR, Trimble Realworks) Registered with SAGC/IMMSA Valid Drivers' License Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
