Section Manager: Communication Production and Publishing PARLIAMENTARY COMMUNICATION SERVICES (PCS) SECTION MANAGER: COMMUNICATION PRODUCTION AND PUBLISHING (IRC6613) THIS POST IS SUBJECT TO A SIX (6) MONTHS PROBATION PERIOD We offer a market and industry competitive total cost-to-company package. The successful candidate will be responsible to provide effective leadership and management of the Parliamentary Communication Production and Publishing Section to ensure that Parliament optimally utilises its production, publication, social media and broadcasting platforms and channels to engage meaningfully with its target audience in support of the Institution's strategic objectives and Communication Strategy.
This includes the management of Parliament's brand entity to ensure that it is promoted and marketed in a positive light towards strengthening its overall brand promise and image.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: Multimedia Design and Production Publications Production Publishing and Broadcasting Marketing and brand management Operational Planning and Reporting Human Resource Management TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST HAVE: A Grade 12 or NQF level 4 with a Relevant Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Communications / Digital Marketing / Marketing / Media Production / Brand Management 8-Years relevant experience of which at least 5 years must have been at management level in a similar role.
