DescriptionInvestec Sandton is looking for a Scrum Master in the Client & Digital Technology team who will plan, manage, and lead the delivery of multiple projects (strategic/business/technical).
In line with the project management governance framework and IT governance standards in the CIB Platform.
The Scrum Master will be responsible for the successful delivery of the required outcomes across various projects (scope) within the approved timeframe (schedule) and cost (budget).
• Project Management of projects/smi's/defects• Foster stakeholder communication.• Drive Agile/Kanban/DevOps practices within the team and remove roadblocks• Facilitation of prioritisation for projects/smi's with stakeholders• Backlog management and prioritization• Governance adherence for projects/smi's• Facilitation of team ceremonies: stand ups, retrospectives, and demos for the development team.• Reporting - Compile project dashboards, delivery stats • Mange capacity and work allocation across the project teams • Continuously evaluating operational processes for improvement with the team (stakeholder communication/ prioritisation/communication/team efficiencies)• Mentorship - assist with upskilling Jnr team members.
• Coaching the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality• Assist with 3rd part vendor relationships• Assist with monthly allocations for projects and team capacity planning.
• Understanding of application components and maintenance• Assist with Team operations and co ordinating day activities - Removing blockers that inhibit development• Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone• implement Project Management/Best Practices • Keep all Parties on Track and Informed.
