Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Engineer with more than 10 years of experience in oil, gas, and construction industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project scheduling, cost control, and resource management for large-scale projects. The role requires expert-level proficiency in using project management software, particularly for projects in high-risk and fast-paced environments. This position is based in Saudi Arabia, and the candidate must be ready to take on complex and challenging projects in the region.Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for oil, gas, and construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.Prepare and monitor project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring the project is on track and within budget.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather accurate data and ensure the schedule reflects the current project status.Identify potential project delays or disruptions and proactively develop strategies to mitigate risks and avoid project slippage.Perform critical path analysis (CPA) to identify key dependencies and resource allocation conflicts.Prepare and analyze project forecasts, progress reports, and schedule updates for senior management and stakeholders.Assist in the preparation of project timelines, resource plans, and financial budgets, ensuring that all resources are utilized effectively.Prepare and issue detailed reports on schedule deviations, reasons for delays, and corrective actions taken.Participate in project review meetings and provide technical input on scheduling, progress, and project concerns.Manage subcontractor schedules and ensure coordination between different teams and departments to minimize delays.Support the project team in achieving project milestones on time by suggesting process improvements and adjusting schedules as necessary.Use scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to track, update, and communicate schedules effectively.Conduct risk analysis to identify schedule impacts and develop contingency plans.Monitor resource allocation and productivity, ensuring efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, and ensure timely delivery of project phases as per client expectations.Qualifications:Bachelorâ??s Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) or a related field.10+ years of experience in project scheduling in the oil, gas, and construction industries.Proficient in PrimaSalary: R Job Reference #: 1140527
