They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.In sustainability assurance, you will focus on obtaining limited or reasonable assurance about whether sustainability reporting, for selected KPIs or as a whole, is free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud (that can take the form of "greenwashing") or error, and to issue an auditor's opinion, in order to help organisations and their stakeholders build trust in their sustainability strategy and performance while complying with relevant regulations. Our Sustainability and Climate Change (S&CC) team advises our clients on their sustainability strategies and how to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into their business models. We provide assurance on key sustainability performance indicators and also assist clients and statutory audit teams on matters related to safety, health and environment (SHE).Experience in auditing sustainable development, financial and non-financial data, providing assurance of sustainability reports, integrated reports, and other relevant related standards in accordance with ISAE 3000.As an associate, you will be required to have a basic understanding of environmental legislation and its application. You will be required to perform decommissioning, mine rehabilitation and closure liability assessments and audits in support of the financial audit.
