Saw DoctorNormandien Farms (PTY) Ltd requires the services of an experienced and well-motivated Saw Doctor to be based in Empuluzi. Duties will include: Supply high quality refurbished and sharpened saws and blades.Ensure Sawshop machines are correctly set up and maintained to ensure accuracy.Ensure that tooth profiles and geometry and cutting angles on blades and cutters are regularly checked and inspected.Inspect and advise on machine set up and maintenance of all machines using blades and cutters.Maintain and repair the sawblades used in the Sawmill.Sharpening of all blades and cutters in the Sawmill.Stock and Management Control of the Sawshop.Manage Sawshop crew.Manage availability of spare blades, cutters and Sawshop consumables.Requirements: Matric/Grade 12.3 – 5 years' experience in a similar position.Good knowledge and understanding of the Health and Safety Act.Good problem-solving skills.Closing date for applications: 14 October 2024.
