Head of Commercial Solutions - BD & SalesA leading Global Logistics Solutions Provider is looking for a Head of Commercial Solutions to be based at their offices in Johannesburg. The successful incumbent will be responsible for defining the Southern Africa capability business development and sales strategy along with a focused set of priorities. They will be instrumental in growing our existing offering within an end-to-end supply chain (across multiple capabilities inclusive of P&T).
This role will be responsible for leadership, strategic alignment, business development (revenue growth), and commercial coordination within the Southern Africa portfolio. They will work closely with business and capability leaders to develop end-to-end solutions and products for our BCOs and principals. Additionally, this role will lead the connection to other regions and coordinate activities from the global pillars, directly contributing towards the Regional revenue and appropriate financial targets.
The role links and provides client solutions leveraging the company's capabilities in the sub-region. Responsibilities include integrating sales and operations planning for accurate commercial strategy development and forecasting, as well as providing relevant reporting to stakeholders to guide and measure sales strategies and impact.
Requirements: Relevant post-graduate degreeA minimum of 15 years' experience within the transport, logistics, or supply chain industrySignificant sales experience across multiple capabilities with a proven success in selling integrated end-to-end solutionsWork experience in Southern AfricaExposure to and working knowledge of all facets of contractual requirementsThorough understanding of logistics and supply chain industryDemonstrated success in introducing existing and new/emerging solutions into various markets
