Job Brief The purpose of the SAP Finance Business Analyst role is to deliver business benefit through targeted IT and Business initiatives that are aligned to the client's business strategy and objectives. The incumbent must ensure desired business outcomes are realised through collaboration, communication, planning and resourcing, as well as facilitate business requirements for IT processes and act as a system specialist. Good business process knowledge of SAP ERP system, applications integration and SDLC is needed.
Responsibilities Identify opportunities in the relevant finance functional area for business process improvements. Engage with business users and management to gather requirements for solution design. Utilize your expertise in SAP FI functionalities to analyse clients' business processes and recommend effective solutions. Collaborate with functional teams/consultants and technical teams. Participate in all areas of the SAP modernization as a business analyst. Prepare, design and document agreed end to end business processes. Prepare functional test cases to ensure functional requirements are met. Assist in coordinating knowledge transfer sessions. Ad hoc duties as required by management. Requirements Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Profound understanding of SAP FI functionalities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and financial reporting. Familiarity with application system integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and project team members. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional requirements. Desired Work Experience 5 to 10 years financial analysis in the Motor manufacturing industry. Experience as a finance applications/systems business analyst. SAP Finance module support consultant.
