In terms ofthe Sanlam Group Governance Policy, SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, which is part of the Sanlam Life and Savings cluster within the Sanlam Group. The cluster focusses on retail products, as well as group schemes.
What will you do?Promote Sanlam Retail Mass (SRM)'s products and increase market share through sound financial advice and a high level of client service in a Branch context.Creating opportunities for client optimisation and cross selling of value-added services.Responsible for Retail Branch Sales delivery and in-branch client service and client retention.Ensure compliance, quality, and risk management.Monthly planning and reporting of sales and service activities in the Branch.Identify key internal and external stakeholders (Area Managers, Business Owners, activation sites, community forums, etc.) and determine effective engagement tactics that will contribute to building and maintaining relationships.Experience1 year experience in a sales or marketing capacityExperience within insurance branches an advantageQualificationsMatric (Grade 12)RE5 advantageousFAIS Compliant (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements.Knowledge, Skills and CompetenciesClient service.Sales and cross-selling tactics and strategies (client optimisation).Knowledge on the Insurance landscape including regulatory requirements and guidelines for selling and providing advice would be ideal.Knowledge on insurance products would be advantageous.Persistently focused on achieving targetsAnalysing informationTechnologically orientatedSelling and influencing skillsCritical thinking skillsStrong communicator (verbally and in writing)Strong customer service orientationOrganising skillsAdaptable and open to learningWhy Join Us:Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for career advancement within a growing organization.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Ongoing training and development programs.Build a successful career with usWe're all about building strong, lasting relationships with our employees.
