Sample Hand Machinist

Key Responsibilities:Garment Construction: Produce high-quality garment samples from concept, FF, and PP'sPattern Interpretation: Work closely with pattern makers to interpret and understand patterns, making any necessary adjustments to achieve the desired fit and style.Fabric Handling: Handle and work with a wide range of fabrics, understanding the unique characteristics and requirements of each material to achieve the best possible outcome.Sewing and Finishing: Perform advanced sewing techniques, including hand and machine stitching, overlocking, and finishing, to create polished and professional samples.Quality Control: Inspect finished samples for quality, accuracy, and alignment with design specifications, making corrections as needed.Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the sample-making process, providing solutions to ensure a seamless workflow.Key Requirements:Min 5 years experience Relevant experience in Ladies and Kiddies wear samplesAble to follow Specs for basic to complex designsAbility to simplify designs for production purposesGood communication skillsAble to work under pressureAccurate and meticulousRemuneration: R6000 - R6800***If you are not contacted within 7 days please consider your application unsuccessful***
