As the Salon Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operations of the salon, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage the staff to maintain our high standards of quality. You will be responsible for financial oversight, staff management, inventory control, and creating a positive environment for both employees and clients. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a busy and fast-paced salon.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
Supervise salon staff (stylists, lash techs).
Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and service delivery.
Provide regular performance feedback and conduct staff evaluations.
Foster a positive team environment, motivating and mentoring staff to deliver exceptional services.
Customer Service Management:
Ensure clients receive the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
Address any client complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Develop strategies to enhance the overall client experience and increase customer retention.
Sales and Financial Oversight:
Manage the salon's budget, including payroll, expenses, and supplies.
Monitor daily sales and revenue, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
Implement promotions and upsell opportunities to increase revenue.
Inventory and Product Management:
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of salon products and supplies.
Order products, negotiate with vendors, and manage relationships with suppliers.
Track and control stock usage to reduce waste and avoid shortages.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the owner and marketing team to promote the salon's services and events.
Help manage the salon's social media presence, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
Organize and manage special events, promotions, and customer appreciation initiatives.
Salon Operations:
Ensure the salon is always clean, well-maintained, and fully operational.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle administrative tasks such as employee timekeeping, payroll, and reporting.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Salon Manager, Assistant Salon Manager, or similar role in the beauty industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage finances, including budgets, payroll, and sales reporting.
Familiarity with salon management software (e.g., Fresha).
Knowledge of beauty products, services, and industry trends.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and poise.
