The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, extensive experience in custom development, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
Qualifications / Certifications required: Salesforce Certified AdministratorSalesforce Certified Platform Developer ISalesforce Certified Platform Developer IISalesforce Certified Platform App BuilderSalesforce Certified Sales Cloud (desirable)Salesforce Certified Service Cloud (desirable)Salesforce Accredited Financial Services Cloud (optional)Experience required: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce developmentProven experience in full cycle software developmentExtensive experience with Salesforce configurations and customizationsStrong background in CRM process design and implementationExperience with integrated packages such as Adobe Sign, DocuSign, CTI, and Marketing ToolsIndustry specialist knowledge in Telecommunications/Financial or related fields is a plusResponsibilities of role: Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform.Customize and configure Salesforce to meet specific business needs using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative tools.Integrate Salesforce with external systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, or other integration methods.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, propose solutions, and provide effort estimates.Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain high standards of development practices.Manage Salesforce data including data migration and data quality initiatives.Design and implement scalable solutions leveraging Salesforce best practices and industry standards.Lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers on Salesforce development best practices.Stay updated with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to provide recommendations for system improvements.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Commercial: Support Pre-sales during development of new business with new or existing clients.Assist in the review of proposals during the pre-sales process to ensure proposal accuracy.Work with engagement leadership to ensure accurate and achievable resourcing planning.General: Maintain certification in selected Salesforce products.Help mentor and coach other colleagues.Participate in the PwC culture, practices and teams.Desirable skill sets include: Salesforce Development Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.Integration Skills: Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with other systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, or middleware tools.Customization and Configuration: Strong understanding of Salesforce customization and configuration best practices.Data Management: Experience in data migration, data modeling, and management using tools such as Data Loader.Governance and Best Practices: Knowledge of Salesforce governor limits, code coverage requirements, and deployment methodologies.Security: Familiarity with Salesforce security model including profiles, permission sets, and field-level security.Role related attributes: Strong presentation and communication skillsStrong aptitude; logical and analytical abilityFacilitating discovery workshopsDocumentation of requirementsTranslation of client requirements into designs and solutionsManagement of design and requirement issues and change requestsGap analysis and capability mappingEnd User Training and other user adoption activitiesReporting of delivery performance, risks and issuesIndustry experience required: Industry specialist knowledge in Financial Services (Banking, Insurance or Wealth Management)Travel Requirements: Up to 20%
