Our organization is expanding its Salesforce capabilities and is looking for Salesforce Solution Architects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, extensive experience in custom development, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment. Qualifications / Certifications required: Salesforce Certified AdministratorSalesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II and/or Salesforce Platform App BuilderSalesforce Certified Sales CloudSalesforce Certified Service Cloud consultantAt least one Salesforce Architect domain certification (preferred)Experience required: Proven experience as a Salesforce solution architect (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud)Experience in supporting business development activities, including designing and estimating Salesforce solutions.Experience in the systems delivery lifecycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, integration, testing, migration, and deployment.Responsibilities of role: Our Salesforce Solution Architects understand the full extent of the digital solution and integration components and how they fit into the enterprise architecture. They collaborate effectively with colleagues from other disciplines to define technology objectives, assess solution options, and devise architectural solutions that achieve both strategic business goals and meet operational requirements.
Development of Client Solutions: Collaborate with clients and technology colleagues to prepare technical blueprints for cost-effective and efficient Salesforce solutions across all three Cloud platforms.Take a solution leadership role throughout design and delivery to ensure that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements and align with the organization's strategic vision.Act as technology leaders within our wider digital and technology practices, providing thought leadership, guidance, and coaching to more junior members of the team.Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform.Customize and configure Salesforce to meet specific business needs using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative tools.Integrate Salesforce with external systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, or other integration methods.Manage Salesforce data, including data migration and data quality initiatives.Design and implement scalable solutions leveraging Salesforce best practices and industry standards.Commercial: Support pre-sales during the development of new business with new or existing clients.Contribute to the production of proposals and work with wider teams to present proposals.Assist in the review of proposals during the pre-sales process to ensure proposal accuracy.Work with the commercial teams to ensure a smooth handover into delivery processes.General: Maintain certification in selected Salesforce products.Maintain and improve internal team skills, processes, and ways of working.Help mentor and coach other colleagues.Participate in the company culture, practices, and teams.Desirable skill sets include: Requirements: Education: Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent in a technology, science, engineering, or business background.Technical Skills: Salesforce data modeling, integration patterns, and architecture best practicesSalesforce offerings, including licensing options.Deployment management and software delivery lifecycleKnowledge of architectural patterns, technology components, vendor solutions, and emerging technology trends.Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to explain digital ideas to non-technical audiences.Leadership and team management skillsExperience managing the sourcing and selection process for third-party software and other technology components.Industry experience required: Industry specialist knowledge in Financial Services (Banking, Insurance or Wealth Management)
