We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with Salesforce experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of DevOps practices, extensive experience in Salesforce development and administration, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects that enhance our CI/CD processes and optimize our Salesforce implementations.
Qualifications / Certifications required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2 (desirable)Relevant industry certifications (optional)Experience required: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevOps engineeringProven experience with Salesforce development and administrationExtensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similarStrong background in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similarExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudFamiliarity with containerization technologies like Docker and KubernetesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailResponsibilities of role: DevOps and CI/CD: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce and other applications.Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable operation.Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate DevOps practices into the development lifecycle.Manage and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.Salesforce Development and Administration: Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative tools.Manage Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.Perform Salesforce data migration and data quality initiatives.Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools.Monitor and optimize Salesforce performance and scalability.Technical Support and Collaboration: Provide technical support for Salesforce and DevOps-related issues.Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices.Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Documentation and Reporting: Document DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce configurations.Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.Report on DevOps and Salesforce performance, issues, and improvements to stakeholders.Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Implement automated testing for Salesforce and other applications.Perform integration and system testing to ensure the quality and reliability of deployments.Desirable skill sets include: Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and project management skillsFamiliarity with data governance and data management best practicesExperience with containerization technologies like Docker and KubernetesRole related attributes: Strong presentation and communication skillsStrong aptitude; logical and analytical abilityFacilitating discovery workshopsTranslation of client requirements into designs and solutionsManagement of design and requirement issues and change requestsReporting of delivery performance, risks and issuesIndustry experience required: Industry specialist knowledge in Financial Services (Banking, Insurance or Wealth Management)Travel Requirements: Up to 20%
