Job OverviewMy client that operates in the SaaS (Software as a Service) sector, specializing in SMS marketing solutions is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Team Manager to lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) in driving revenue growth, achieving ambitious sales targets, and cultivating a high-performance culture. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on sales activities to ensure team success.
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to: VP of RevenueKPI Achievement: Drive success against KPI targets through effective team management.Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing SDR team to generate qualified leads.Performance Monitoring: Track SDR performance, pipeline metrics, and lead conversion rates to ensure consistent results.Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust rolling pipeline of booked meeting opportunities.Sales Execution: Prospect, target, and identify new business opportunities across territories.Collaboration: Work closely with account executives to close new deals and meet sales goals.Coaching & Development: Conduct team meetings, daily huddles, and one-on-one coaching sessions to align on goals and progress.Motivation & Accountability: Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and collaboration within the team.Administrative Oversight: Ensure CRM records and team admin tasks are up to date.Problem Resolution: Address discipline issues appropriately while upholding company values and standards.Key Competencies and Experience RequiredMinimum of 2 years' experience in a sales team leader position.Strong knowledge of the sales process with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.Proven ability to manage daily team behavior and foster accountability.Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.MatricA diploma and/or degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field would be advantageous.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly revenue target achievement.Team sales goal achievement (e.g., % of targets met per month/quarter).Daily call volume and talk time.Monthly SQL (Sales Qualified Leads) generation.Working ConditionsWorking Hours:4 PM – 1 AM (November to March).3 PM – 12 AM (March to November).Transport: Reliable transport is required.If you're a strategic leader with a passion for driving results and empowering teams, we'd love to hear from you!
