Overview of the Role Generate sales for Pesto Princess FoodsClose sales over the phone.Support the Sales Coordinator with invoicing & other tasks.Perform any administrative task relevant to the sales department.Daily Duties Contact new & existing customers for orders, making a good first impression, always friendly, respectful & professional.Process orders efficiently & accurately.Enter, update and process customer information in the Skynamo App.Update the daily sales dashboard.Keep your product knowledge fresh and inform customers of new product launches.Engage potential customers in dialogue that makes future sales and upselling possible, while listening to the customers & needs.Negotiate sales and address any concerns/reservations of potential customers by being a good listener.Direct prospects to the sales manager when appropriate.Go the "extra mile" to meet the sales quota and facilitate future sales.Meet company expectations for exceptional customer service.Commit to departmental and individual quotas/goals.Requirements & Qualifications 2 years' experience in telesales or sales related role.Talent for selling, with experience in retail, food services, or both.Ability to think creatively and solve problems in a practical way.Patience and ability to engage customers in conversation.Computer literate & tech savvy with a working knowledge of relevant computer software.Ability to handle rejection and pressure and to know when to seek support.Excellent interpersonal skills that make you a strong, mature team player with a positive attitude.Proficiency in Excel is beneficial.High school diploma or equivalent required.
