Sales & Reservations Manager

The role includes monitoring and distributing inquiries, managing quotes and payments, providing sales guidance, and managing the CRM database (HubSpot, Zoho, Tourplan).
It offers flexibility in working hours, is based in Cape Town, and requires no additional language skills beyond English.Minimum Qualifications and Experience:3+ years of Tailormade/Series quoting in SADC tour operations (groups/FITs)Strong knowledge of Southern/East Africa and Madagascar1+ years of leadership/management experience in tour operationsProficient in Tourplan, HubSpot, or equivalent systemsSkilled in problem-solving, statistical analysis, and proactive planningExcellent communication and relationship-building skills Duties and Key Responsibilities:Respond to new inquiries and distribute to consultantsEnsure inquiries are replied to within 24 hours and meet company standardsProduce weekly and monthly sales statisticsReport on trends and provide analysisOffer guidance on itineraries and client/agent issuesEnsure sales and office procedures are followed (responses, invoices, vouchers, etc.
)Track tasks by sending "tests" to other departmentsManage leave and flexi-time rostersDistribute team workloads and check high-value quotesHandle ad hoc quotes and reallocate as neededAssist with complaint handling and resolutionManage CRM system for long-term benefitProvide staff training and conduct performance reviewsHandle disciplinary reviews if neededAttend meetings with senior management to review performance and plan improvements
