Sales Representative/Video Project Coordinator | Hout Bay

Our client operates within the video marketing and content creation industry by producing simple and affordable videos for use in social media or internal company communications.
We are looking for a Sales Representative whose responsibilities will range from lead generation, through to advising briefs and  Video Project Coordination.
This position will be based in Hout Bay.
Responsibilities Data Mining and lead initializing within the targeted industries (Investment Banking, Private Equity, Sustainable Energy, Mining, Tourism, Healthcare) using all approaches: internet research, tradeshows, LinkedIn networking, Chamber of Commerce networking, and any other relevant places.
Plan prospecting activities throughout the year, according to tradeshows for example, in relationship with company Director.
Email campaigns to segmented groups of prospects, using Brevo or ZOHO and a customized approach for each group.
Analyze campaign results, qualify leads that showed interest in our CRM.
Cold-call everyday a selected group of leads and clients to try and build a connection with clients in our targeted markets, and understand better their market.
Manage daily our client database on CRM.
Obtaining a proper brief from our clients and prospects, and producing quotes, by tapping into our video product templates and our price list.
Once quotes are approved, design a video structure, and a script, with the help of the client.
Help them define their ideal video, within the allocated budget.
Prepare the filming, book one of our filmmakers, and prepare a roadmap for the selected filmmaker.
Gather graphics, pre-select music and video assets, and get them approved by client.
Follow-up on the production, and make sure the rough cut the filmmaker made matches the clients needs, and is in line with our standards.
Edit and send invoice, make sure payment goes through.
Weekly progress report to company Director.
Requirements 3 Years minimum in a similar sales role, with a proven track records of successful sales development.
Tertiary education in sales, marketing, or communication.
Connections with decision makers (Marketing managers, Communication managers) in some of the targeted industries (through previous pro experience) would be a huge bonus to help us gain access to a new market.
Excellent verbal and writing skills in the English language is a must.
Excellent use of Microsoft Word, Excel.
Excellent keyboard skills.
Gritty, HUNGRY, resilient.
Smart, fast learner, and a will to develop own skills through self-teaching (youtube videos, research).
Strong interest in the audiovisual sector.
Creative mind, ability to design videos (after training, and using our video templates, and under the supervision of Director).
Excellent autonomy, excellent interpersonal skills, and desire to contribute to the growth of a small business.
Loyalty, willingness to grow with a project, and take a management role.  Social media user, (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
Benefits Salary: R15 000 to R25 000 depending on experience.
