Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Sales visit to customers at job sites, business offices and institutional account locations to identify and create rental opportunities.- Sales visit on key account administrative and management personnel in offices to ensure customer satisfaction.- Handle customer service issues in the field and negotiate rental contracts.- Handle customer sales objections and the ability to close on a rental deal.- Develop a thorough understanding of the market conditions (eg. current customers, competitors, opportunities) for the assigned territory, develop and execute a strategy to achieve revenue goals.- Work with Sales and budget forecasts.- Conduct productive cold calling and prospecting activities.- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer and market share.Skills and Experience:- Competent in understanding and communicating product and technical information.- Sound technical understanding and ability to quickly adopt to new products/ technical developments.- Significant technical application expertise to specify the best solution for the customer.- Clear understanding of optimised territory management.- Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills.- Ability to cope with pressure and setbacks and learn to develop accordingly- Ability to work as part of a team.- Excellent verbal and written English & Afrikaans required- Willing to travel and be on standby as and when required in the performance of their dutiesQualification:- Bachelors degree in Engineering or other Technical or in relevant rental experience- Minimum of 5 years working experience in technical solutions selling- Confident and a good team player- Passionate about Customer satisfaction- Computer literate- Excellent interpersonal skills- Professional in all dealings- In possession of a valid and clear driver's license
