The Sales Representative will ensure the effective implementation of the company's sales strategy in Ermelo, Secunda, Bethal, Standerton and Volksrust (to be based in Ermelo)
Duties & Responsibilities Brand Availability and Sales Volumes: Strategically drive availability targets tailored to each channel.Ensure flawless execution of brand presence across various platforms.Position brand equity as the central focus of all activities and initiatives.Implement innovative strategies to boost sales volume.Prioritize key brands to optimize volume potential across channels. Promotions and Brand Visibility: Execute promotions that align with and enhance brand equity.Tailor promotions for maximum synergy with specific channels.Rigorously implement the National Promotions Strategy.Track and optimize the return on investment (ROI) for promotions.Elevate brand visibility through impactful imagery, displays, merchandising, and more.Operational Excellence: Systematically manage and update call cycles to maintain efficiency.Ensure 100% adherence to the prescribed call cycle.Accurately code all outlets for seamless operations.Meet all requirements during representative visits.Complete administrative tasks and reports promptly. Consumer Engagement: Engage responsibly with consumers at every touchpoint.Collect and manage consumer data in alignment with target demographics.Effectively communicate consumer insights and expectations. Financial and Asset Management: Adhere to quantity and discount cycle parameters to meet financial goals.Ensure prompt submission of PODs and credit notes.Maintain company vehicles and manage vehicle mileage within budget.Handle promotional stock with accountability and care.Desired Experience & Qualification 3 Year Tertiary Education (Beneficial)2-3-Years Relevant experience - NB experience within FMCG / Food & BeverageProduct, service knowledge and understanding of category managementKnowledge of marketing and accounting principlesComputer literateAbility to conceptualise and negotiateCustomer orientationSound interpersonal skills and creativity (big picture thinking)Team player and ability to work independently using initiativeEndurance and ability to tolerate extended hours (work evenings and over weekendsPackage & Remuneration Market related, with company benefits and incentives
