Sales Representative - Northern CapePermanentFull TimePublished: 22 hours agoNon EE/AAReference: CPT000361-LO-1Our client is looking for a Sales Representative with electronic sales experience (preferably mining industry experience) to service the Northern Cape area.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of the role is to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth within designated international markets by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.Responsibilities:SalesMeeting and maintaining sales budgetEstablishing, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective customersIdentifying sales opportunitiesNegotiating and closing sales dealsMaking telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customersCoordinating sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groupsExpediting the resolution of customer problems and complaintsEnsuring customer and stakeholder satisfactionAnswering technical questions from potential and existing customersAttending trade shows and conferences and providing feedback on new products, pricing and market conditionsAdhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.AdministrationPreparing and presenting bids and quotations that meet specific customer expectations and project requirementsMaintaining a database of information for sales prospects and existing customersMaintaining accurate records of all invoiced sales and commissionsCollecting information about the customer to assist in the development of marketing plans and sales strategiesMinimum Requirements:Matric CertificateDiploma in marketing/salesDiploma/trades test in electronics with 3 – 5 years experience in electronic sales – preferably the mining industryComputer literate (MS Office package)Valid driver's licenseOwn vehicle and valid driver's license
