Position SummaryTechniques Group is an established group of companies in the automation sector, currently recruiting for an external sales representative with hands-on experience in laser profile cutting, bending and fabrication processes.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with clients in the fabrication industry, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.Act as a technical liaison between customers and our fabrication team, ensuring clear communication of specifications and requirements.Utilize your in-depth knowledge of laser cutting, bending and fabrication to effectively showcase our capabilities and products to potential clients.Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and stay updated on industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.Able to meet and exceed sales targets.Increase market awareness.Offer technical advice on value-added products.Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients.Desired Experience & QualificationProven sales experience in a steel service centre.Experience and knowledge in the laser cutting & bending industry.Knowledge on material application and uses.Ability to read and quote off a technical drawing.Technical expertise in interpreting client requirements and translating them into effective solutions.Excellent communication and negotiation skills are needed to build lasting relationships with clients.Ability to project manage.Conceptualise ideas, put ideas into action and see through to end.Mature, positive and confident attitude and ability to work with others to achieve goals.Presentable appearance with sober habits.The Candidate must be target- and performance-driven.Driver's Licence.Behavioural CompetencyTeamwork.Energy.Discernment/Judgement.Detail-oriented.Insight.Reliability.Integrity and trust.Package & RemunerationMarket Related
