Sales RepresentativeOur client, a reputable business in the generator industry, is currently looking to hire a Sales Representative to join their growing team in East London, Eastern Cape. In this role, you will fulfil a sales representative role within the generator industry and commercial and industrial sectors.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAchieve agreed profitability targetsEstablish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and future customersExpedite and follow-up on the successful resolution of customer problemsReach out to customer leads through cold-callingCoordinate sales efforts with team members and other departmentsWeekly customer visitsMonthly customer outingsOne-week country trip every monthTravel, develop, and maintain brand presence in neighbouring countriesAchieve short- and long-term sales targetsPerform cost-benefit analysis of existing and potential clientsMaintain positive business relationships to ensure future salesMarketing and Competitive AnalysisQuarterly competitor pricing comparisonMonthly submission of market analysisResearch, report, and keep abreast of market conditionsInvestigate and understand the organizational structure of clientsReport on competitor activity, developments, and pricingAdministrationEnsure timely and accurate completion of enquiries, quotes, and tendersTimely loading of sales ordersTimely completion of all internal administrationAssist accounts personnel with the collection of outstanding paymentsPreparation and distribution of marketing and sales aidsProvide timely stock verification information on equipment on siteCompletion of weekly and monthly reportsCompliance with all reasonable instructionsNo outstanding debtors amount in excess of 45 daysCustomer surveys within 5 days of last deliveryDesired Experience & QualificationGrade 12BCom Degree in Marketing Management or equivalent (advantageous)Minimum 3 years' sales representative experience in the generator industry or commercial and industrial marketsOwn car and driver's licenseFully computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when requiredInterested?Suitable candidates are encouraged to reply to this ad or send their CV directly to warren(at)kwena(dot)net for immediate consideration.
