Essential requirements:N6 or Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringFormal Marketing qualification (an advantage)Excellent work ethics and communication skills coupled with a strong customer focusEnglish language and communication essentialResponsibilities:Previous selling experience on Earthmoving / construction Machinery a mustGenerate and qualify leadsContinuous market and competition researchMonitor trends and developments in the construction industry in the territoryFollow projects efficiently from early stagesDevelop and make presentations of the productsAssist clients in equipment selection based on the applicationDevelop sales proposals based on requirements and discuss with clientsActive follow-up of offersRespond to enquiries and complaints by means of phone, email or in personMaintain regular sales activity records and reportsEnsure adequate internal communication with other departments being involved in a projectAssist in preparation and/or selection of local sales promotional materialParticipate actively in trade shows and equipment exhibitionsWriting of press releases, job reports and news for internet homepageQualifications:Professional and goal driven attitudeProven experience in sales and marketing of construction equipmentExperience in application of construction equipment, preferably with a Technical backgroundGood understanding of any aspect of the products and their application in a modern construction environmentGood understanding of the service principles in the African market industryStrong internal and external communication skillsGood presentation skillsGood computer skillsExperience in project managementMust be prepared for extensive travelling in the territory (assigned) and some cross borderValid passportValid Driver's License (reliable vehicle)Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales and Business DevelopmentIndustriesManufacturing
