We require the services of a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Representative to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and experience in the environmental sector will be beneficial.
The primary responsibility will be to identify and secure new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
The secondary responsibility will be to raise the companys profile for prospective employees by cultivating relationships with tertiary institutions followed by regular contact or events and lifting the companys social media profile.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the environmental sector, both in South Africa and across the bordersAssist unit managers and key account managers with heightening market awareness of the company to grow existing clientsConduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for current and future marketsDevelop and implement effective business development strategies and plansSupport development of company website and social mediaBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clientsPrepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients in collaboration with unit managers and key account managers in line with company strategyAlong with the CEO, negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for all partiesPromote company to prospective employees by heightening awareness of the company profile to attract talent, through effective digital media marketing campaignsEstablish links and build networks with tertiary institutions producing graduates that could find employment with company.Collaborate with unit managers, geographic offices and key account managers to ensure the correct expertise is applied to meet client requirementsPrepare regular reports on business development activities and performance, with recommendations for improvementAttend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to promote the companyProvide input and support for strategic planning and business development initiativesQualifications and minimum requirements: Degree/Higher Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or relatedProven experience in business development, with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growthStrong understanding of environmental regulations and industry standards, not only in South Africa, but also in the rest of AfricaStrong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and partners at all levelsValid drivers license and willingness to travel as requiredRequirements:
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skills and detail-orientedProficiency in MS Office, with experience using data analytics toolsPlanning, organising and execution able to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans to capitalise on themBe motivated to succeed financiallyThis position is office based, located in Pretoria and the team is dynamic and energetic.
