Sales RepresentativeOur client, a reputable business in the generator industry, is currently looking to hire a Sales Representative to join their growing team in East London, Eastern Cape. In this role, you will fulfil a sales representative role within the generator industry and commercial and industrial sectors.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAchieve agreed profitability targetsEstablish, develop and maintain relationships with current and future customersExpedite and follow-up on the successful resolving of customer problemsReach out to customer leads through cold-callingCoordinate sales effort with team members and other departmentsWeekly customer visitsMonthly customer outingsOne-week country trip every monthTravel, develop and maintain brand in the neighbouring country nearer to the branchAchieve short- and long-term sales targetsPerform cost-benefit analysis of existing and potential clientsMaintain positive business relationships to ensure future salesMarketing and Competitive AnalysisQuarterly competitor pricing comparison to be submittedMonthly submission of market analysisResearch, report and keep abreast of market conditionsInvestigate, report and understand the organizational structure of clientsKeep up-to-date and report on competitor activity, developments, and pricingAdministrationEnsure timely and accurate completion of enquiries, quotes, and tendersEnsure the timely loading of sales ordersEnsure the timely completion of all internal administrationAssist the relevant accounts personnel with the collection of outstanding/overdue paymentsPreparation and distribution of marketing and sales aidsProvide timely stock verification information on equipment on siteCompletion of weekly and monthly reportsCompliance with all reasonable instructionsNo outstanding debtors amount in excess of 45 daysConduct customer surveys within 5 days of last deliveryDesired Experience & QualificationGrade 12BCom Degree in Marketing Management or equivalent will be advantageousMinimum 3 years' sales representative experience in the generator industry or commercial and industrial marketsOwn car and driver's licenseFully computer literate in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook)Flexibility to work long hours and weekends where requiredInterested?Suitable candidates are encouraged to reply to this ad or send their CV directly to warren(at)kwena(dot)net for immediate consideration.
