Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 Certificate Sales diploma preferred 5 years construction equipment sales experience Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Must be willing to travel as and when required Duties & Requirements: Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales and rental revenue and gross profit targets for construction hoists. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of product lines, features, and benefits. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position our products. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and industry stakeholders. Address client inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Conduct market research to identify potential customers. Provide feedback to the Divisional Director on competitor activities. Collaborate with Contract Managers and Workshop Team to ensure the seamless delivery and support of sold and rented machines. Assist clients in selecting the most suitable equipment for their needs and provide technical guidance as required. Develop an understanding of other products and services and look for opportunities to sell these products to existing customers Understand and be able to explain our Terms and Conditions of Hire and Sale to customers Attend site and customer meetings as required Ensure that budgeted hire equipment utilisation levels are achieved Prepare and submit quotes Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system. Ensure debtor days are managed in line with budget Other duties as may be assigned from time to time Must be safety focused and strive for Zero Harm Understand the risks associated with construction hoists Drive competency training with customers Report all safety deviations in area of work, identify and report potential hazards in area of work Ensure that all incidents are reported to your line manager as soon as it occurs but no later than the end of the shift Ensure that any unsafe condition is reported to your relevant manager immediately Must be medically fit Must have a valid drivers licence
