Our client in the Agricultural Sector is looking for a Sales Representative (Animal Nutrition ) to join their team in Western Cape, Knysna.
Requirements: B.Sc/BCom in Agriculture, Animal Science or related field.
Proven sales experience, particularly in animal nutrition.
Solid knowledge of pasture management on dairy farms is required.
A well-established network within the agricultural sector is an advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from identifying client needs to closing deals and offering post-sale support.
Nurture and expand the current client base while developing new relationships with prospective customers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's presence in the region.
Develop strategic plans to increase market share and achieve sales targets.
Offer expert guidance on animal nutrition products, while continuously expanding knowledge in pasture products.
Utilise expertise in pasture management on dairy farms to provide tailored solutions and recommendations.
Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs to stay ahead of the competition.
Manage the assigned territory to maximise sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
Plan sales activities to align with seasonal demands and target customer segments.
Ensure thorough coverage of the region by traveling extensively in territory to meet with clients.
