Full job descriptionLarge hospitality corporate is requiring a seasoned SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR Minimum Requirements, Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary Education essential - Marketing Degree PreferredProven sales track record as Sales Manager/Director - with a Minimum of 7 years of sales experience preferably in the Hotel, Food or Catering IndustrySound knowledge & experience in the corporate sales processHigh Impact presentation and proposal writing experienceStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenSound financial knowledge and budgetingSound knowledge in building feasibilitiesStrong negotiation and analytical skillsTrack record of achieving sales targets and objectivesOwn Vehicle & Driver's license – Extensive TravelKey Performance Areas Sourcing Business through Utilisation of Client Database, RFP's and ContactsSource new business opportunitiesClient EntertainmentAfter Sales Client Care - RetentionBudgeting & ReportingMarketingBrandingManagement of Human Resources (subordinates)Part of ExcoSelf-ManagementLead the Sales / Business Development, Marketing and Social Media TeamClient database is scrutinised and leads and contracts are evaluated for business opportunitiesAppointments are diarised on a planner and presentations are preparedAppointments with prospective clients are attended to and the Company and its services are presented in a professional and appropriate mannerProspective client needs and budgetary constraints are evaluated and an opportunity to present a formal proposal is securedVisits to clients are made in accordance with planner and/or needs identified through feedback from operationsCo-ordinate Client Surveys in conjunction with clients and the operations teamFeedback on company services are elicited from clientsIssues identified through client interactions are brought to the attention of operations and/or other relevant departmentIdentified issues are followed up with clients within stipulated timeframesPipeline document in Teams is updated weekly and circulated to relevant management as stipulatedRequired sales statistics are produced monthly in accordance with stipulated proceduresIn liaison with relevant operations management quotations/proposals are prepared and presented to the prospective client within the stipulated timeframeDeals are negotiated, closed and signed with the prospective client within stipulated cost parametersStipulated Sales Targets are metSales/Business development team are focused and have a "hunter" mindsetRequired contractual detail is completed by client and signed contracts are distributed to relevant personnelCompany awareness is created through appropriate marketing and public relations activities.External Marketing, Advertising & PR Providers are managed and monitored to ensure agreed upon objectives are met.Planned Public Relations events achieve maximum impact on targeted market segmentsExpenditure for public relations events is managed and controlled within approved budget parametersCustodian of a Marketing and Branding collateral standardsMarketing collateral and sales support material meets branding requirements and is available at all timesInternal branding and corporate identity is accurate, consistently applied, and controlled to prevent unauthorised changesBranding supports business objectives appropriatelyActivities are planned annually and reviewed quarterly
