Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing the International Banking and Trade & Working Capital Sales teams in the region and drive the business growth in line with the overall product strategy. In this role you will also implement a Trade sales execution strategy that supports the overall Transactional Banking Objectives and to grow the business to support the TXB objective of becoming the leading Bank in Africa.Job Description Your key responsibilities in this role will include; Maximising revenue growth through business development salesDeveloping effective strategies for winning new clients in order to generate new income for the Group.Identifying new sales opportunities in the form of new to bank or new to trade alongside Relationship Managers/Coverage colleaguesAchieving the profitability hurdle rate as defined by Customer Groups Managing pipeline of new customers and follow end to end sales processWorking closely with sales colleagues to promote awareness of TWC products, strategies and competitor information amongst the RM and other strategic business communitiesManaging senior stakeholders across Coverage, Middle Office, Operations, Credit and Portfolio Management.Identifying market and industry trends, by analysing sector research, economic periodicals and industry journals and advise both TWCS and clients on these. • Identify opportunities with current clients for expansion in transaction volume.Meeting and exceeding all targets as set by the Regional Heads for the allocated Segment.Leading, supporting and motivating the sales management teams – including performance management, development and trainingMaking sure that the team is fully resourced to execute on the strategy by recruiting and attracting talent to the organization.Creating a high-performance environment and effective team working.Send in your CV if you have the relevant experience as well as; A Bachelor's degree in Commerce,10 plus years Sales and Banking experienceExcellent knowledge of International Banking, Trade & Working Capital and broader Transactional Banking to ensure one can provide sound advice and specialized solutions to the client and gain the position of trusted adviser Education
