A well known PET manufacturing company is looking for fill a Sales Manager - PET role based in JHB North.
The role will report to the National Sales Manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure that we sell all PET volumes at the highest possible/reasonable price.Maintain healthy customer relationships with Key Accounts.Understand the competitive forces and commodities and introduce differentiation of grades.Liaise with all levels at major key customers to ensure best service levels.Promote company values to foster partnerships with our customers.Conduct ethical dealings in line with good corporate governance in line with Kap requirements.Provide insight into market trends through available data sources/portals (import stats, ICIS, WoodMac).Manage all commercial elements relating to responsible portfolio.Includes negotiations of monthly prices, sales administration, forecasting, allocating stocks, negotiating securities, competitive market information, competitive grade information, market application segmentation analysis.Meets sales and volume budget.Market assessment market report / segmentation.Account plans.Tracking customer performance (volume and margin).Manages offtakes vs credit limits and customer payment compliance.Provide in-depth analysis into trends.
