This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to take charge of the regional sales strategy and operational activities, driving merchandise sales and supporting our showrooms and sales consultants.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement monthly and weekly sales plans with clear targets for the region.
Manage and meet sales targets while supporting the showrooms and maintaining high operational standards through the Showroom Manager.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to deliver top-notch customer satisfaction.
Ensure staff motivation, performance, and development through effective people management.
Oversee stock management to ensure availability and accuracy.
Support payment collection processes and manage costs in line with the approved budget.
Minimum Requirements: A National Senior Certificate is essential.
Tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing or a related field.
Previous exposure to interior design/decorating is advantageous.
At least 8 years of sales experience in a wholesale or retail environment.
Minimum of 5 years of people management experience .
A driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required.
Proficient in computer literacy.
Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
A customer service-oriented approach with entrepreneurial thinking.
Strong business development and problem-solving skills.
General business acumen and self-motivation are key to success.
This role is 20% office-based and 80% on the road , allowing you to stay engaged with clients and ensure regional success.
