Role Purpose: The Sales Manager will lead and manage a team of Financial Advisers, providing clients with compliant financial planning and product solutions.
This role focuses on expanding the companys footprint by driving new business opportunities and recruiting new advisers, all while ensuring a client experience centered on financial wellness.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Motivate and guide a team of Financial Advisers to achieve sales targets and maintain high client service standards.Business Development: Drive the growth of new business volumes by managing and supporting advisers in generating leads and closing sales.Recruitment: Actively recruit new advisers, both New to Industry (NTI) and New to Momentum (NTM), to expand the branch's footprint.Client Management: Enhance and manage existing client portfolios, ensuring high levels of persistency and cross-selling opportunities.Compliance: Ensure adherence to FAIS regulations and related legislation at all times, fostering a culture of compliance within the team.Communication: Serve as the primary communication channel between the company and advisers, maintaining open lines for feedback and support.Digital Engagement: Promote the adoption of digital tools and platforms to streamline processes and enhance productivity.Performance Tracking: Monitor leads and prospects allocation, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions.Culture Promotion: Act as a custodian of the company culture within the branch, creating an environment of trust, motivation, and achievement.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to implement strategic goals and drive business continuity.Qualifications: Education: Relevant Bachelors degree in sales, marketing, or a related field.FAIS Compliance: A compliant Knowledge and Information (KI) qualification is advantageous and required within six months of appointment.Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the retail industry, with a proven track record in sales management and adviser recruitment.Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of company products and services.Skills and Competencies: Excellent leadership and motivational skills.Strong sales and negotiation abilities.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.A proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.High attention to detail and a commitment to achieving results.Join our team and be a pivotal part of a thriving environment dedicated to improving clients' financial wellness while leading a motivated team of advisers!
