Sales Manager

JOB SUMMARY The Sales Manager is responsible for overall and general management of the sales department. Develop, lead, and motivate a team of salespeople to help drive revenue, set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensuring that the team targets and KPIs set are achieved. Driving and setting up of daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the sales team. Overall management, recruitment, and development of the sales team. Mentoring and motivating staff. Driving of outreach events and promotions. Manage the sales administration process. Maintain consistent target delivery. Sustain optimal team productivity by recruiting on an ongoing basis. Generate revenue by increasing membership sales. Superior member service and member retention. Management of risk. Upholding the compliance standards set by the organisation. REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Grade 12 or equivalent. Minimum 2 years sales experience (previous experience in Health & Fitness or Hospitality industry preferred). Previous management experience and ability to interact at all levels. Proven track record of consistent sales achievements. Reliable transport and own cell phone essential. Must be flexible and adaptable and willing to work retail hours. Sound work ethic.
