A company in the logistics industry is looking to hire a Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to attract new clients and grow existing accounts in the logistics sector.
The individual must have:Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controlsMeeting planned sales goalsSetting individual sales targets with the sales teamTracking sales goals and reporting results as necessaryOverseeing the activities and performance of the sales teamCoordinating with marketing on lead generation CMSThe ongoing training of your salespeopleDeveloping your sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge educationPromoting the organization and productsUnderstand our ideal customers and how they relate to our productsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededAny other reasonable and lawful duties required by Dealer Principal from time to timeLiaise with Workshop and Parts regarding sales staff enquiriesTime manages sales staff to maximize the best use of their timeHandle customer concerns above the normal scope of the salespersonNegotiate discounts to maximize Retained Gross ProfitSet sales meetings and pipeline recordingMeet with the Dealer Principal weekly to update the status of the New Vehicle Sales DeptQualifications:Minimum 3 years experience in similar roleCode 8 licenseMatric or higherCommercial experienceExperience in planning and implementing sales strategiesExperience in customer relationship managementExperience managing and directing a sales teamExcellent written and verbal communication skills
