Job Description Role Overview: As a Sales Manager at Ello Technology, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth by leading, mentoring, and developing a team of New Business Sales Representatives, Customer Account Team Leads, and Customer Support Team Leads.
You will be responsible for ensuring the team meets Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) targets, one-off sales goals, and customer retention rates, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
This role requires dynamic leadership, strong strategic acumen, and a customer-centric approach to achieve key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:   Team Leadership and Development:   Lead, mentor, and develop a team of New Business Sales Representatives, Customer Account Team Leads, and Customer Support Team Leads.
  Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans to enhance team capabilities.
  Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  Revenue and Sales Growth:   Drive the team to achieve and exceed the company's MRR targets through effective sales strategies and customer management.
  Oversee the execution of sales initiatives that contribute to achieving one-off sales targets.
  Encourage cross-selling and upselling strategies to increase revenue from existing accounts.
  Customer Retention and Satisfaction:   Work closely with Customer Account and Support Team Leads to ensure customer retention rates are maintained at 95% or higher.
  Monitor customer satisfaction (CSAT) and Customer Technical Satisfaction Scores (CTSS), ensuring they remain above the company's benchmark.
  Develop strategies to improve customer loyalty and long-term engagement.
  Service Level Agreement (SLA) Compliance:   Ensure that all customer support and service activities are performed in accordance with the company's SLA commitments.
  Implement processes to monitor SLA adherence and promptly address any issues that arise.
  Strategic Planning and Execution:   Collaborate with senior management to align the sales strategy with Ello Technology's business objectives.
  Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  Lead the development and execution of strategic account plans to maximize customer value and drive revenue growth.
  Performance Monitoring and Reporting:   Track and report on team performance metrics, including sales targets, customer retention, and SLA compliance.
  Provide regular updates to senior management on progress towards goals and any areas requiring attention.
  Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimize team performance.
  Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): MRR Growth : Achieve and exceed monthly recurring revenue targets.
One-Off Sales Targets : Meet quarterly and annual one-off sales goals.
Customer Retention : Maintain a retention rate of 95% or higher.
CSAT & CTSS : Achieve customer satisfaction and technical satisfaction scores of 95% or above.
SLA Compliance : Maintain a 95% or higher SLA adherence rate.
Team Training : Ensure the team completes at least two training programs per year.
Strategic Reviews : Conduct and document regular strategic reviews of key accounts.
Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of sales leadership experience in a relevant industry, ideally within Managed Services or Technology Solutions.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a leadership role.
Experience in customer account management, cross-selling, and upselling strategies.
Skills and Competencies: Leadership and Mentorship : Ability to inspire, guide, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Sales Expertise : Strong understanding of sales cycles, MRR, and the technology/MSP industry.
Customer-Centric Mindset : Commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Analytical Thinking : Ability to analyze performance data and market trends to drive decision-making and sales strategy.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to both internal and external stakeholders.
Problem-Solving : Proactive and innovative in addressing challenges and identifying growth opportunities.
Time Management : Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements: Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Experience in working with cloud services, Microsoft 365, and AI-powered technologies is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and company events.
