Salary: R50,000 CTC per month Working Hours: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote after the first year). About the Role: They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join their thriving tour operator business's Sales Support Team. The Sales Manager will drive sales growth and enhance operational efficiency, providing valuable support and guidance to the Operations Department. Their expertise in sales performance, client experience, compliance, collaboration, and reporting will ensure top client experiences and business success. Key responsibilities include monitoring metrics, identifying growth opportunities, managing departmental goals, driving sales, and overseeing the client service cycle. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of senior sales leadership experience and proficiency with tour operator software and Google Suite. Requirements: A National Senior Certificate/Matric; 3 to 5 years' experience in a senior sales leadership role within the tour operator environment; Experience with Tour Operator Software (i.e., Kaptio, Tour Plan, etc.) and Google Suite; High client-centricity, excellent people management, change management, and communication skills; Willingness to work flexible hours; Achievement-oriented with impeccable attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Not essential but advantageous: Diploma/Degree in Tourism; Leadership course attendance. Role & Responsibilities: Monitoring critical metrics and evaluating team and individual performance; Identifying growth opportunities within the sales team and designing personal development plans; Managing strategic departmental goals, including achieving annual preferred supplier agreements; Overseeing repeat and referral reactivation; Driving sales through coaching, motivation, and feedback; Developing and maintaining best practices and updating processes; Producing summary reports and highlighting trends in sales data; Ensuring team motivation and promoting company culture and values; Conducting periodic performance reviews; Overseeing operational capacity and scheduling to ensure optimal operations; Resolving client and supplier service issues; Supervising administrative tasks and managing the client service cycle; Collaborating with the Product and Marketing Teams on educational requirements, newsletters, and content creation; Preparing weekly sales meetings and monthly performance reports.
