SALES & OPERATIONS MANAGER - Grooming & Cosmetics SANDTON (Gauteng) - South Africa START: ASAP / 01 October 2024 REPORT TO: National Sales Manager / Director TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 Select Public Holidays Annual leave COST TO COMPANY: Market related salary (negotiable based on relevant experience & proven record) Performance Incentives - KPI linked Traveling Costs covered by company where operationally required QUALIFICATIONS & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: IDEAL - Degree in business administration with focus on Sales/Marketing/Procurement NICE TO HAVE - Certification in Beauty Therapy / Cosmetology Business Experience: minimum 3 years Functional Experience: minimum 3 years' experience in sales, ideally in the Beauty / Cosmetic / Grooming sectors Leadership: minimum 3 year in management Cross-functional experience ideally with marketing / sales / finance / logistics / procurement Must be based in JHB Own, fully insured, reliable vehicle KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Bubbly and energetic persona Confidence in leading and motivating a team for success Sales Manager with proven track record of success Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, negotiation) Proven methodological skills (e.g. business planning, strategic development) Broad and deep functional skills (e.g. Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Employee Wellness) High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge Extensive knowledge of the Spa & Beauty industries along with significant industry experience Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in another language are a benefit (Afrikaans / Xhosa etc.) PURPOSE OF THE JOB (SUMMARY): Drive the consistent execution of sales Build and maintain sustainable long-term growth plans strategies within each key account through partnerships, in conjunction with the Sales Development satellite teams. Support sales team and drive morale Develop effective strategies for sales growth & demand Visit key partners on a regular basis to maintain a relationship and develop business Travel to other provinces for meetings / functions and expos Ensure team meets and exceeds targets Measure KPI's / implement KPI's
