Requirements: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales or Business with a sales bias 3-5 years of senior experience in sales and marketing, in the food or FMCG industry Strong understanding of the South African food market and customer preferences Experience with digital marketing, social media, and CRM platforms Valid drivers license and willingness to travel Duties include: Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company goals Identify and target new markets, clients, new channels for sales and opportunities for growth Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, partners and the staff of shops in the business Monitor sales performance and adjust tactics to improve revenue and profitability Conduct market research to understand consumer trends and competitor activity Marketing Strategy & Campaigns Create and execute marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement Develop digital marketing strategies, including social media, email campaigns, SEO, and content marketing Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create promotional materials and brand conten.
Analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize them for better results Product Management Work closely with the product development team to align sales and marketing initiatives with new product launches Assist in product positioning, pricing strategies, and market segmentation Provide feedback to the product team on market demand and customer preferences Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Implement and manage CRM systems to improve customer interaction and retention.
Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Analysis Track and report on sales performance, marketing metrics, and market trends.
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, budget plans, and marketing reports to management.
