Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead business development efforts and drive growth in the Retail and HORECA sectors across the Maldivian islands. Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and target new and existing Retail and HORECA clients. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet company budgets and growth objectives. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research to understand trends, demands, and competition. Utilize insights to refine product offerings and adapt sales strategies. Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients. Address their needs to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Team Management: Manage a team of Key Account Managers to ensure effective market coverage. Account Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement account plans to maximize customer satisfaction and business growth. New Product Launches: Collaborate with internal teams to introduce and launch new food solutions tailored to Retail and HORECA sectors. Pricing and Contract Negotiations: Develop competitive pricing strategies and negotiate mutually beneficial contracts with clients. Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients, ensuring they understand the product range and its benefits. Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies throughout the sales and distribution process. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to streamline operations and provide comprehensive client support. Key Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and making data-driven decisions. Willingness to travel frequently for client visits and industry events. Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus. Ability to work with diverse cultures, with an understanding of Islamic culture preferred. Positive attitude, proactive approach, and capability to manage productive conflict and tough decisions. Minimum of 5 years experience in international HORECA sales and business development within the food solutions industry. Strong understanding of the HORECA sector, its challenges, and market dynamics. Experience in working and living outside of ones home country. Based in Hulhumale, Maldives, with frequent travel to various islands. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
